Not quite the dreamer…

Nimbus is Julien in real life. He works in a “geek” store in downtown Paris and as he likes to point out: “You can’t miss it, there’s a stormtrooper right out in front!”

Nimbus is a nickname “my brothers gave me since I was the smallest in the family and it just stuck for all sorts of reasons. I actually like it and it suits my drawings.”

Nimbus draws as a way to get away, to switch to other things after work, to focus on a personal project. Self-fulfilment.

Nimbus is all about mangas and the manga universe, not to mention superheroes in general, whether it’s DC or Marvel, they all find favour with him. And he reproduces them in his own style, which is becoming more refined.

Nimbus has recently worked with POSCA, a case in his name is available with a few black and white boards to colour, as well as colours he personally selected.
